The Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, and the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), is offering scholarships to women, people with disabilities, and the marginalised, who satisfy the requirements under 3.0, and have been admitted to study the following programmes at AAMUSTED:
PROGRAMMES
- 2-year Diploma in Construction Technology
- 2-year Diploma in Wood Technology
- 2-year Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- 2-year Diploma in Architecture and Digital Construction
- 2-year Diploma in Welding and Fabrication Technology
- 2-year Diploma in Automotive Technology
- 2-year Diploma in Mechanical Technology
- 2-year Diploma in Fashion Design and Textiles
- 2-year Diploma in Catering and Hospitality
- 2-year Diploma in Information Technology
- 2-year Diploma in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants of the scholarship must satisfy the following conditions or requirements:
1. Be between 15–25 years at the time of applying.
2. Must have sat the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
3. Must have been admitted to study any of the programmes under 2.0 above.
4. Must come from any of these programme regions: Northern, Northeast, Oti, Savannah, Upper East, Upper West, and Volta Regions in Ghana.
5. Must have attended Senior High School (SHS) in any of the programme regions mentioned above.
6. Must have sat the WASSCE in schools outside their birth regions but within the regions mentioned above.
7. Must not be a current beneficiary of any other scholarship scheme.
8. Must be willing to give back to their communities through development service.
9. Must pass a selection interview.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS
The deadline for submitting applications is the end of sale of AAMUSTED application forms, after which no applications will be accepted.
HOW AND WHERE TO SUBMIT APPLICATIONS
Applicants must submit completed application forms either:
In person at any District Education Office in the programme regions mentioned, or

- Application forms are free of charge, and no fees, facilitation, or intermediaries are required at any stage of the selection process.
- Applicants must read and understand the application guidelines before completing the form.
- Only shortlisted candidates would be contacted for interviews.
